Robinson’s Nursery
& Garden Center in Copiague, N.Y., is a 15,000-square-foot
(1,394- m2) facility providing nursery and gardening products on Long Island. The owner had originally planned to use a shingled roof on the new facility but decided right before construction to switch to a metal standing-seam roof for durability and aesthetics.

The owner chose a 10,000-square-foot (929-m2) metallic bronze roof featuring an Englert 2000 Series snap lock 1 3/4-inch (44-mm) panel that was 18 inches (457 mm) wide by Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, N.J. ADPI, Avenel, N.J., was the fabricator.
