Grand Panama Resort is a two-tower, 999- unit condominium resort located on the beach in Panama City Beach, Fla. The two 22-story buildings also house a complete retail complex featuring upscale boutiques, art galleries and gift shops, in addition to a pedestrian walkover to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico.
Designed by OZ Architecture, Denver, and built by WGYates Construction, Destin, Fla., the two towers feature Englert Series 1300, 16-inch- (406-mm-
) wide standing-seam metal roofs in medium bronze by Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, N.J. The 60,000 square feet (5,574 m2) of metal roofing was selected for its durability and weatherability due to its location on the Gulf. Ameritech Roofing of Panama City, Fla., installed the roof.
