New Library Utilizes Metal Roof

The new construction of the North Suffolk Library in Suffolk, Va., utilized 10,500 square feet (975 m2) of 24-gauge Dutch Seam (MRD150) metal roof panels in Silversmith and 1,000 square feet (93 m2) of 0.032-aluminum Soffit panels (MPV120) in Bone White. Panels are from ATAS International Inc., Allentown, Pa., while Arkema Inc., Philadelphia, provided the Kynar 500 coatings. Bradco Supply Corp., Newport News, Va., was the distributor, and The Design Collaborative, Virginia Beach, Va., was the architect. The builder for the project was Sunbay Contracting, Virginia Beach, and the contractor was Peninsula Roofing Co. Inc., Newport News.
