Plaza Development Makes a Metal Statement

The Split Rock Plaza in Shelton, Conn., is a 14-acre (5.6-hectare) development offering 80,000 square feet (7,432 m2) of retail and office space. The project utilized 20,000 square feet (1,858 m2) of 24-gauge steel Snap-Clad Panels, 16-inch (406-mm) on-center, finished in Kynar 500 Forest Green by Petersen Aluminum Corp., Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Rose, Tiso & Co., Fairfield, Conn., was the architect; R & S Construction Services Inc., Middlebury, Conn., was the roofing contractor; and Blakeman Construction, Shelton, was the general contractor for the project.
