Rest stop design wakens with metal makeover

Rest Area 11, Portage, Wis., was outfitted with metal roof panels by McElroy Metal[1], Bossier City, La. Mead & Hunt Inc.[2], Madison, Wis., designed the facility with McElroy Metal’s 24-gauge Maxima 2:18 metal roof panels in Hartford Green and Marquee-Lok in Hartford Green to be installed on the north building, and McElroy Metal’s 24-gauge Maxima 2:18 metal roof panels in Colonial Red and Marquee-Lok in Colonial Red to be

utilized on the south building. The metal roof panels were installed by Nations Roof North[3], Waukesha, Wis. The maintenance buildings and shelter buildings for picnics were also clad in metal products as part of the project, which was managed by general contractor Scherrer Construction Co. Inc[4]., Burlington, Wis.
