Located in Milwaukee, the 21-story building is the newest addition to the Saint John’s on the Lake community. VJS Construction Services, Pewaukee, Wis., was the general contractor, and Construction Supply & Erection Inc., Germantown, Wis., was the dealer/installer. Continuum Architects, Milwaukee, and Perkins Eastman, Chicago, are the project architects. The facility features 16,351 square feet of Moon Township, Pa.-based CENTRIA’s 22/26-gauge, 3-inch horizontal Formawall Dimension Series metal wall panels with a 1/2-inch reveal in Champagne Bronze with an embossed Sundance Mica coating. The building also includes 9,984 square feet of CENTRIA’s 22/26-gauge, 3-inch horizontal Formawall Dimension Series metal wall panels with a 1/2-inch reveal in Marble with an embossed Flurofinish coating.
The contrasting Marble and Champagne Bronze colors give the facility a sleek contemporary aesthetic reflective of the new era in senior living. CENTRIA’s Formawall Dimension Series was selected for its sustainability, performance and aesthetics, which reduced costs and construction time, as well as being a cost-effective solution for Milwaukee’s cold winter climate.
