Linamar Tech & Training Center in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, is clad with Alucobond aluminum composite material from Alcan Composites USA Inc., Mooresville, N.C. The ACM was fabricated in custom-fitted panels by Sobotec Ltd., Ontario. Sobotec designed and installed the cladding system, which was made up of more than 1,000 panels inan attachment system in its SL-2000 rainscreen system. Alcan supplied 20,300 square feet (1,886 m2) of 0.16-inch (4-mm) Alucobond PE Core in Champagne Metallic and 8,500 square feet (790 m2) in Copper Metallic for the project.
