Perretz and Young Architects designed the exterior of Triangle Rock Club, with a decorative pattern of angular, gray and green metal panels. The look of the decorative green and pattern is based on the owner’s logo and repeated on climbing walls inside the gym.

The decorative pattern of metal panels was installed as part of phase two of a facility-wide remodeling and expansion project. A metal building system was used to construct the climbing gym, which has a 48-foot-tall climbing wall. The 30,383-squarefoot Triangle Rock Club building is a former athletic club.

EMB Construction Co. LLC erected Star Building Systems’ metal building system. The exterior was customized to blend with the original structure, which has a combination of CMU base with stacked stone and EIFS.

EMB Construction installed 6,337 square feet of Star Building Systems’ Double-Lok standing seam roof system in Galvalume Plus. EMB Construction installed 14,145 square feet of Star Building Systems’ PBR metal wall panels in Ash Gray.

To complete the decorative pattern on the exterior, Widespread Solutions LLC field painted custom panel cutouts to match colors of Triangle Rock Club’s logo.
