Judging Criteria
Competition entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts jointly appointed by Metal Architecture. They collectively determine the winners for all categories based on entries’ respective merits, including overall appearance, significance of metal to the overall project appearance, innovativeness of material use, significance of metal to achieving project objectives, and quality of accompanying photography. Projects may be judged in multiple categories, but no project can be named a winner or honorable mention in more than one category. The highest overall score will win a special “Grand Award,” irrespective of category.
Winning projects with Metal Construction Association (MCA) members involved will also be recognized as an MCA design award winner. Any submissions with MCA members participating will be displayed at METALCON and promoted on social media and MCA’s website.
Deadline for entries: May 10, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
