American Buildings Co. (ABC) announces that Mark Van Dyken has been appointed General Manager of ABC – Atlantic Division. He brings more than 25 years of experience to this position, most recently serving as General Manager within another division of Nucor.
“During my time in the metal building industry, I have understood how important it is to take care of our customers. Without them, we have no reason to be here.” said Van Dyken. “With the complications and complexity of construction, our team will strive to be a reliable supplier to the field.”
Van Dyken started his career in drafting, and then moved to the commercial side of the metal building business. He has held various leadership positions over the years, including those within Nucor.
“We are excited about having Mark Van Dyken join the ABC team,” said Jeff Carmean, President of Nucor Buildings Group. “Mark brings with him a great amount of leadership experience and knowledge about the metal building business.”
