Neal Brooks has joined Englert Inc. as Director of Business Development in Canada, responsible for the growth and distribution of Englert’s full line of products including its LeafGuard and RainPro gutter systems, Englert’s LEED-compliant standing seam roofing materials and accessories and the Englert line of solar rooftop environmental products.
Brooks comes to Englert from Sears Canada Inc. where he served for five years as senior manager for Sears Commercial/Sears Incentives headquartered in Toronto, a new wholesale/commercial business unit that he started up to sell construction products to the building trades.
Brooks had done the same for Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the United States for four years as a team leader and account manager, making large volume contract sales of construction products and household appliances to commercial customers. He started his career as a sales associate at Sears selling cabinet re-facing services to residential accounts in north Texas.
A resident of the greater Toronto area, Brooks has been a top fundraiser for the Great Canadian Chill to Fight Kids Cancer, has been active in the construction of Habitat for Humanity homes in Toronto and recently sat on the membership committee of the Building and Industry Land Development Association (BILD) in Toronto.
One of his primary goals at Englert will be to continue to grow the company’s Canadian dealer program for LeafGuard, the world’s only one-piece, patented, hooded leaf protection system. He will also be building Englert’s contractor network for RainPro, a unique rainware system that functionally and aesthetically outperforms conventional gutter systems.
