Fabral announces the 2016 winners of its annual Project of the Year program: Cleary Building Corp., Thomsen Construction & Supply Co., and N.B. Handy Co.
Now in its 12th year, Fabral’s Project of the Year recognizes superior architectural creativity, design aesthetics and the unique use of metal. Participants submitted entries in four different categories: Light Commercial, Agricultural, Residential, and Architectural.
Light Commercial – Cleary Building Corp., Verona, Wis.

A striking standing seam metal roof with varying roof lines and pitches complete the home’s rustic, yet sophisticated look. Forty squares of Bronze SSR 150 cover this home in Vicksburg, Mich.
Architectural – Roof Systems of Virginia, Richmond, Va./N.B. Handy, Lynchburg, Va.

The Virginia Tech Indoor Practice Facility, the largest of its kind in the country, is topped by continuous 238′ long Fabral Stand
‘N Seam roof panels that provide unrestricted, yet controlled, thermal movement on this Blacksburg, VA facility.
The Residential category winner will receive $2000, including a scholarship to a college or high school of their choice. Other category winners received $1500. Fabral thanks all participants in the 2016 Project of the Year contest and gratefully supports the winners’ contributions to their communities.
