Fabral, Lancaster, Pa., announced three new additions to their accessory offering. New offerings include – Roof Hugger, wafer head fasteners and colored sealants. Roof Hugger System Highlights: Sub-purlin system that is ideal for retrofit applications No need to remove old roof.
Saves up to 70% of labor on preparation of old roof.
Punched pilot holes for rapid fastening into existing support structurals.
Maintains integrity of original design loadings.
Achieves “thermal break” air space between old and new roof sheets.
Allows for optional insulation.
Laboratory and load tested – Certified load charts.
Florida product approval on selected assemblies. Wafer Head Fastener Highlights: Available in 1”, 1 ½” and 2” plus 1”self-drillers Available with square drive head Pre-approved and tested by the Fabral engineering team Recommended as it will lessen the fastener telegraphing. Colored Sealant Highlights: Colors available to closely match the Fabral complete color offering Waterproof, UV-resistant Bonds to wet surfaces Paintable within 1 hour after application Shrinkable by 1% and can fill 1” gaps Green build approved (earth friendly), solvent-free and the odor is only slight.
