GAF announces a complete Lifetime Roofing System for homeowners. In order to qualify for Lifetime limited coverage, a homeowner must install any Lifetime Shingle, as well as three or more qualifying GAF accessories.
Details for the Lifetime Limited warranty can be found in the new “GAF Shingle & Accessory Limited Warranty,” which is effective for all installations of GAF asphalt shingles and accessories after January 1, 2012. Lifetime coverage also includes non-prorated coverage for the first ten years.
GAF now offers three limited warranties that cover roofing
systems rather than just shingles. The other two warranties, the System Plus Limited Warranty and the Golden Pledge Limited Warranty, are only available through GAF’s factory-certified contractors, and include significantly longer non-prorated periods as well as other coverage upgrades.
