Gulf States Manufacturers, a division of Nucor, announces new sales manager, Rick Humphrey. Humphrey began his career in metal building construction in Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a District Sales Manager for Nucor Building Systems in 2004, Humphrey gained experience through inside and outside sales for contractors in the western Pennsylvania area. Humphrey began his own company in 1991 and became the first builder for Nucor Building Systems in the Western Pennsylvania area. Humphrey joined the team at Gulf States Manufacturers in August 2014.
Humphrey’s focus at Gulf States will be to develop the best sales team in the industry. Humphrey said: “Gulf States has developed the reputation of being the solution company in the Southeast, and I am excited to be part of building their sales team for the future growth of the division. I have been with Nucor for many years, and I am excited to begin my new journey with Gulf States Manufacturers, a division of Nucor.”
