Two U.S.-based manufacturers with longstanding ties to the architectural metals sector have formalized their decade-long collaboration. Hendrick Screen and SLIPNOT recently entered a co-marketing agreement to jointly promote products that integrate precision metal fabrication with enhanced safety features for pedestrian surfaces.
While the companies have collaborated on various projects since 2012, the new agreement establishes a more structured approach to working together in the architectural design space. The partnership will focus on educating designers and specifiers about how Hendrick’s grating and grille products can be paired with SLIPNOT’s proprietary slip-resistant surface technologies to meet both aesthetic and safety requirements.
“SLIPNOT and Hendrick have worked together on various projects for over a decade. We are excited to formalize the partnership to better serve both of our customer bases with our unique products,” says Kevin Koder, president and CEO of SLIPNOT.
The agreement, officially introduced at the 2025 AIA Conference on Architecture and Design, encompasses a range of architectural components, including stair treads, entrance grilles, trench grating, and fountain or tree grates. According to both companies, the collaboration allows for improved quality control, faster delivery timelines, and more cohesive product integration.
Products included in this co-marketing agreement include SLIPNOT’s proprietary slip resistant coating, along with several architectural products from Hendrick:
• Entrance grilles
• Stair components
• Tree grating
• Trench grating
• Drain covers
• Fountain grating
• Ventilation grilles
