Innovative Metals Co. Inc. (IMETCO), based in Norcross, Ga., celebrated its 30th anniversary in the final quarter of 2024. In 1994, Garland Industries Inc., based in Cleveland, partnered with two metal roofing manufacturers to form IMETCO to fabricate a full range of metal product solutions for building envelopes. The company has grown to encompass manufacturing operations in Norcross; Sacramento, Calif.; and Burlington, N.J.; and operational offices in Norcross and Buffalo, N.Y. IMETCO offers a range of metal products, including roofing, wall cladding, rainscreens, insulation, deck systems, and accessories.
Joe Mellott, president at IMETCO since 2022 after joining the company in 2016, says, “We are really proud of the diversification of today’s product offering.
