McNICHOLS CO. is sad to announce the passing of long-time McNICHOLS Executive Vice President, David J. “Dave” Brenneman. A legend at McNICHOLS who faithfully served the company for 40 years, Brenneman passed following a short, but aggressive battle with esophageal cancer.
Starting his career at McNICHOLS as a warehouse/saw operator, Brenneman worked directly for founder Robert L. “Bob” McNichols during his early career. He subsequently served in various roles with McNICHOLS over four decades, spending the last 20 years as a member of the senior leadership team.
McNICHOLS is North America’s leading supplier and fabricator of Perforated and Expanded Metal, Wire Mesh and Designer Metals as well as a full line of Metal and Fiberglass Grating and Flooring Products.
When Brenneman retired in February, 2015, he was Executive Vice President of Sales and Supply Services. “Dave is one of the finest men to ever walk the halls of The Hole Story,” said Scott McNichols, President of McNICHOLS. “On behalf of the Brenneman family and all McNICHOLS associates, we thank you for your support and prayers during this difficult time.”
