Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, a manufacturer of metal roof and wall panel technology, announced the opening of its 20th regional manufacturing facility. As many competitors lay off workers or close their doors, Metal Sales Manufacturing continues to build for the future with a new Fort Smith, Arkansas branch that will hire employees over the next three years. “We’re building for the future,” explained Metal Sales Manufacturing president Jim Waldron. “This new location will allow us to provide better service to an important region of the country.” The new manufacturing location will officially open on April 5, 2010. “The Fort Smith Chamber of Commerce was helpful in bringing these new employment opportunities to Arkansas,” added Waldron. The 34,000 square foot location in Fort Smith, Arkansas, will serve the needs of commercial, agricultural and residential customers throughout Arkansas, Oklahoma and Northern Louisiana. The facility will produce EnergyStar-rated cool roof systems and feature a private delivery fleet with MOFFETT off loading capabilities. “More people are beginning to realize the value and durability that a quality metal roof can provide,” said Fort Smith branch manager, Bob Bright. “With our new Fort Smith location, they have access to a wide selection of colors, styles, and features closer to home which will reduce overall costs and transportation expenses for our customers.” For more information, visit www.metalsales.us.com.
