
The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) has selected its leadership slate for the 2024-2025 term, following elections held during its 2024 Annual Business Meeting in Chicago. Arizona architect Edward “Ted” Marley, FAIA, NCARB, has been inducted as president of the organization. Marley brings over 40 years of experience and has served on the Arizona Board of Technical Registration and various NCARB committees.
Joining him in executive leadership is Ohio architect John Patrick Rademacher, AIA, NCARB, who has been elected first vice president/president-elect. Rademacher has held multiple volunteer roles within NCARB, including Region 4 chair and member of the Board of Directors.
Florida architect Miguel A. Rodriguez, AIA, NCARB, has been elected secretary/treasurer. A member of NCARB’s Education Committee and a past chair of Region 3, Rodriguez also serves on the Florida Board of Architecture and Interior Design.
The NCARB Board of Directors also welcomed three new regional directors. North Carolina architect Catherine C. Morrison, AIA, NCARB, will serve as Region 3 director. Morrison has contributed to NCARB’s Outreach and Credentials committees and previously served as president of the North Carolina Board of Architecture and Registered Interior Designers.
Representing Region 4, Rhode Island architect Thomas D. Lonardo, AIA, NCARB, brings experience from the Rhode Island Board of Examination and Registration of Architects and multiple NCARB committees.
California architect Tian Feng, FAIA, NCARB, was elected as Region 6 director. A member of the California Architects Board, Feng has served on the Futures Collaborative and Education Committee, and advocates for resilient, sustainable communities.
Together, this diverse team of professionals brings decades of leadership experience and a shared commitment to advancing licensure, regulation, and access in architecture.
