This back-to-school season, Plymouth Public Library in Indiana welcomes students and families with a striking new installation of moss-green aluminum column covers by Moz Designs. In collaboration with Arkos Design and R. Yoder Construction, the vibrant columns bring color, durability, and a sense of play to the library’s learning spaces—creating an environment that’s both engaging and enduring.

The project utilizes hand-crafted round column covers made from high-quality aluminum in Moz’s manufacturing facility in San Francisco. The stem-like designs are finished in a light moss color with a coarse grain pattern and a satin finish, offering a unique visual texture and lasting resilience.

Chosen for their aesthetic versatility and performance in high-traffic environments, the eight columns—each 5 m (16 ft) in diameter and 3 m (10 ft) tall—are designed with vertical butt joints and a 152-mm (6-in.) recessed base in #4 brushed stainless steel, ensuring they stand up to daily wear during the busy back-to-school season and beyond.
