Rite Hite fans used in Green Schoohouse projects

Rite-Hite Fans is partnering with Green Schoolhouse Series, an initiative which builds and gifts schoolhouses to disadvantaged public schools. Groundbreaking for the first Green Schoolhouse – a LEED Platinum designed, safari-themed facility – took place December 1, 2011 at Roadrunner Elementary School in Phoenix.

As a partner, Rite-Hite Fans will be contributing Revolution SP High Volume, Low Speed Fans (HVLS) which can be used to help keep outdoor activity areas cool and to help supplement HVAC systems and reduce energy costs indoors. In this instance, fans will be installed in several outdoor common areas.

“Rite-Hite Fans is proud to contribute to such a unique program,” says Andy Olson, marketing manager for Rite-Hite Fans. “It’s great to know we are contributing to the future of American school children as well as LEED-certified green design practices for schools and academic facilities.”
