Los Angeles, Calif.-based AIGA is looking for outstanding submissions in two categories: Environmental Sustainability and Social Responsibility. This a great opportunity for design professionals, students, educators, businesses and organizations to show their excellence in sustainable design. Entry fees range from
$30 for students and AIGA members to $85 for non-members per series. The competition includes two categories: Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability.
To qualify for the Social Responsibility category, the design must be for a business or organization whose mission is social responsibility. To qualify for the Environmental Sustainability category, the entry must be an environmentally sustainable design for a business or organization.
The contest runs until July 22, 2011 with entries reviewed and a winner chosen by a panel of judges. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards given for both categories in each of the following divisions: Individual /Agency, Student, For-Profit Corporation and Non-Profit Organization. Winners will receive an award at the Gala event on October 27, 2011 at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, as well a recognition on the AIGA (Re)design Awards website, and on social media channels.
