Centerbrook gives scholarship to Yale

Centerbrook Architects & Planners, Centerbrook, Conn., recently presented a $1,500 scholarship to the Yale School of Architecture, New Haven, Conn. The scholarship comes as part of a 2008 Design Award from Metal Architecture and the Metal Construction Association, Glenview, Ill., awarded to Centerbrook for its metal roofing work on the Lewis Walpole Library addition, which is located in Farmington, Conn., at Yale University. MCA donated the scholarship as part of the award. (See the July issue for more details.) “Centerbrook is happy to know that this award will contribute to the educational advancement of Yale’s superb architecture students,” wrote Mark Simon, FAIA, an architect for the project, in a letter to the architecture school.
