The copper industry is recognizing 14 new and recently restored buildings in the U.S. and Canada that utilize architectural copper and copper alloys in their design. The 2013 NACIA award recipients include government buildings, academic facilities, houses of worship, an upscale residence on Daniel Island, and many more.
Established in 2008, The NACIA awards program promotes projects that display innovation and excellence in architectural copper applications, showcasing a wide range of design, detail and craftsmanship. Sponsored by industry representatives at the Copper Development Association (CDA) and the Canadian Copper & Brass Development Association (CCBDA), the awards recognize projects across three different categories: New Construction, Renovation/Restoration and Ornamental Applications.
