The Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Powder Springs, Ga., has launched a newly designed Web site. The committee calls the new database driven concept a “major improvement” over the old static configuration. As a new feature, users can review seminar PowerPoint presentations by clicking on the “Seminar Archive” tab. All sponsor members have direct links to their respective sites, and the calendar contains dates for code hearing and industry conferences. Hurricane and hail investigation reports can be downloaded free of charge on the site. A bibliography of documents related to wind and hail have been assembled for inclusion on the site.
