Airolite, Marietta, Ohio, has announced that its louver type K6746MD complies with the Florida Building Code and is Miami-Dade Approved for use in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone. Louver type K6746MD is a 6-inch-(152-mm-) deep, drainable, horizontal blade louver designed to prevent water droplets from becoming entrained in the intake airflow. Louver type K6746MD is Miami-Dade approved for installations where the enclosed space is designed to drain or otherwise accommodate water infiltration (wet rooms). Louver type K6746MD with a factorymounted VCD-40 volume control damper is Miami-Dade Approved for applications where no drainage is provided (dry rooms).
