As the first Zinc Composite Material ever, VMZINC bonded with an ALPOLIC/fr core has been tested to and is complaint with the fire testing requirements for noncombustible construction as detailed in section 1407 of the International Building Code (IBC 2009).

The panels used to perform the tests were fabricated by NOW Specialties, Dallas.
