Keystone Certifications has been appointed the new official program administrator for the Steel Framing Industry Association (SFIA) code compliance certification program beginning January 1, 2027.
In this role, Keystone will manage administrative, compliance auditing, and quality assurance workflows for licensees of SFIA’s cold-formed steel framing certification program. According to Keystone, the partnership ensures that certified manufacturers continue to meet stringent structural performance, quality control, and building code compliance standards.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Steel Framing Industry Association,” said Dan Shiflet, president of Keystone Certifications. “Our team looks forward to delivering reliable, efficient, and independent third-party verification that supports quality and integrity throughout the steel framing industry.”
Don Allen, executive director of SFIA, said, “So far, it has been wonderful working with Keystone’s staff and leadership. They have been quick to understand the processes required and have even made helpful suggestions to streamline and coordinate inspections and processing and sharing of test results.”
The transition streamlines certification processes and auditing management, offering participating manufacturers seamless service and expert technical support, says Keystone.
