AkzoNobel AkzoNobel’s TRINAR is a fluoropolymer coating with a minimum of 70 percent PVDF resin. TRINAR is available for coil and spray (extrusion) applications and in COOL CHEMISTRY, which uses ceramic and infrared reflective pigmentation designed to meet Energy Star guidelines and contribute to points in LEED and other green building programs.

TEXTUR3D is available in 26-gauge coil and sheets in 13 colors, and is offered in all Coated Metals Group’s standard colors. TEXTUR3D resists scratching and scuffing common with low-gloss or matte finishes, and reduces the appearance of oil canning.

Dura Coat Products Inc. Dura Coat Products’ Edge Seal is a clear, air-dry sealer applied with a roller to help seal cut edges of metal panels and trim that occur during the installation process. Edge Seal may be applied to Dura Coat Products’ Durapon 70 PVDF coating and can be applied during routine roof maintenance.

PPG Industries Inc. PPG Industries’ DURAFORM DR polyester coil coatings are designed for two-coat application on aluminum or cold-rolled steel for garage doors and entry doors. DURAFORM DR coatings are formulated with star-shaped polyester polymer to provide abrasion resistance and flexibility with wide cure parameters. The coatings have ceramic pigments to provide an extended gloss range with a variety of colors including stain-like finishes that mimic the look of wood grain.
