Dynamic Fastener Dynamic Fasteners’ #14 self-drilling Fenderhead T-5 will fasten steel to structural steel from 0.25 inches to 0.625 inches total steel thickness and is available with Dyna-Coat 1,000-hour salt-spray premium coating. The fasteners are available 1 1/2 inches to 8 inches long, and have a 3/8-inch hex washer head and a 5/8-inch outside diameter washer face.

ET&F Fastening Systems’ pneumatic tools and heattreated drive pins are an alternative to screws for fastening fiber cement siding and trim to cold-formed steel studs of 33-mil to 97-mil thickness. ET&F pins are code-recognized in evaluation reports for fiber cement siding.

Sealtite Building Fasteners Sealtite Building Fasteners’ ZXL Steelbinder and ZXL Woodbinder screws have a ZAMAC 5 molded zinc-aluminum alloy head and may be used for metal-to-metal and metal-to-wood applications. The Woodbinder HSS screw has a fully hardened stainless head, threads and point; it will drill 26-gauge high-tensile steel with no pilot point. Sealtite’s metal roofing screws have a warranty for red rust and are recommended for metal panels with 40-year warranties.
