Insulated metal panels featured in Metal Construction News’ July 2019 issue.

CENTRIA
CENTRIA’s Formawall Dimension Series and Graphix Series insulated metal panels (IMPs) are produced without halogen in their insulating foam cores. The panels have a Health Product Declaration (HPD) from the HPD Collaborative. Horizontal and vertical IMPs are available in a range of lengths, thicknesses, reveals and profiles. Additionally, the panels can be curved.

Columbia Architectural Products Inc.
Columbia’s Alclad insulated and veneer glazing infill panels are installed in place of glass in aluminum glazing/storefront channels and on setting blocks without mechanical fasteners or adhesives. With color-matched panel trims, the panels can be used as building envelope cladding. The standard 1-inch panels are made of 0.04-inch aluminum color face, 1/8-inch tempered hardboard substrates, 5/8-inch expanded polystyrene core and 0.04-mill or finished aluminum back. They have an R-value of R-4.75. The 1/4-inch veneer glazing panels have a 5-mm exterior grade plywood core and 0.04-inch aluminum face and back with an R-value of R-1.5.

Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.
Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s KarrierPanels are barrier wall panels that work with secondary rainscreen systems including metal and brick. The panels use KarrierRail to transmit loads from the façade to structural supports behind the insulated panel. They are available in widths from 24 inches to 42 inches, thicknesses from 2 inches to 6 inches, and lengths from 8 feet to 53 feet. KarrierPanels are available in shadow-line and flat profiles, with stucco or non-embossed finishes. Additionally, they can be produced with QuadCore, a hybrid insulation core.

MBCI
MBCI’s CFR insulated standing seam roof panels have 2-inch-high seams. Standard panels have 42-inch-wide coverage; optional 30-inch and 36-inch widths are also available. CFR panels are attached to building structures with concealed clips to provide continuous insulation and eliminate thermal bridges. A wide variety of colors are offered.

Metl-Span
Metl-Span’s CF Striated insulated metal panels (IMPs) are lightly profiled with narrow longitudinal striations, creating soft texture with shadow and light. From a short distance away, they appear flat. Striated IMPs have concealed clips and fasteners that create smooth, unbroken appearances. The wall panels have a polyurethane insulating core, and are available in thicknesses to 4 inches.
