CertainTeed CertainTeed’s SMARTBATT with MoistureSense Technology is a kraft-faced fiberglass batt insulation that manages moisture. SMARTBATT adapts based on moisture levels in the wall cavity, blocking moisture from entering when humidity is low and allowing the wall to breathe when it senses high humidity to be released. It is available in R-values ranging from R-13 to R-38 and offers an alternative to installing a vapor barrier film over un-faced batts.

DuPont DuPont’s Tyvek ThermaWrap R5.0 is a building wrap that acts as a breathable air and water barrier and provides continuous exterior insulation. It is an insulation option to construct above-code, energy-efficient homes to achieve the higher wall R-values required by recent versions of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

MBCI MBCI’s eco-FICIENT HPCI Barrier insulated metal panel is an air, water, thermal and vapor barrier panel that can be used behind any type of façade. This Dade County-approved, back-up panel is installed horizontally and completely outside the structural supports. Silvercote LLC Silvercote’s Energy Saver Fall Protection (FP) System is a high R-value insulation and fall protection system that consists of a network of straps, white-painted zinc coated banding, bright white support fabric and un-faced fiberglass blanket insulation. Un-faced fiberglass insulation is installed above the fabric in varying thicknesses to obtain the desired insulating values. The fabric is fastened to the underside of the roof framing and is supported by the banding. The Energy Saver FP System is designed primarily for use in metal buildings and may also be used in various types of roof and wall construction.
