Armstrong’s MetalWorks Torsion Spring Shapes ceiling panels create 2-D and 3-D patterns. The 0.04-inch-thick aluminum ceiling panels are available in 12 2-D shapes installed in 24-inch modules, three 3-D triangular panels installed in 24-inch modules, and three hexagon shapes installed in 30-inch modules. MetalWorks Torsion Spring Shapes ceiling panels come in four standard colors, and they can be produced as perforated acoustical panels.

Hunter Douglas Ceilings and Walls

Hunter Douglas Ceilings and Walls, a subsidiary of CertainTeed Corp., offers PLAZA large format acoustic panels. They have a lightweight, micro-perforated aluminum construction and honeycomb core, which helps them remain flat over time. PLAZA panels come in a variety of sizes to 4 feet long by 10 feet wide.

Pinta offers its SQUARELINE metal ceiling tiles in three standard expanded metal, diamond mesh patterns, with or without an acoustic backer. SQUARELINE panels fit within standard suspended grid systems. Dramatic back lighting and shadow effects are possible. Metal finishes are offered in power-coated chrome, white, black and custom colors. Optional 9/16-inch-thick WHITELINE acoustic backer panels in smooth white fleece on one panel face and black fleece on the other side are available.
