BILCO’s standard size roof hatches include type E, 36-inch square, type F, 48-inch square, and type L, 30-inch by 96-inch. They access roof areas by an interior ladder, ship stair or service stair. The hatches are designed and tested to withstand hurricanes and severe weather systems. They were tested for impact of wind-borne debris and passed a cyclic wind-pressure loading test.

KCC Manufacturing offers double curb designs. Double curbs are typically used for large HVAC or equipment from 2,000 pounds to 50,000 pounds. Double curbs allow thermal expansion and contraction of standing seam roof systems. Double curbs have an inner curb that is attached to a perimeter frame of a building and an outer curb that is attached to a roof, and moves with it. Double curb designs are available in galvalume, aluminum or stainless steel construction, and optional painted finish.

RHEINZINK offers precision-welded, round or box-shaped, rainwater drainage downspouts in either RHEINZINK prePATINA blue-gray or graphite-gray architectural grade zinc. Downspouts are available in standard 4-inch widths for box-shaped downpipes and in 3 1/8-inch and 4-inch and diameters for round pipes.

Ventco’s Hip and RidgeVent is a roll out ventilation product for screw-down metal panels 1/2-inch to 1-inch high on pitches from 3:12 to 20:12. It is made from more than 90% recycled fiber with more than 30% post-consumer content, and comes in three sizes. Hip and RidgeVent has a positioning adhesive for direct application to a ridge cap. It won’t crack, dent or rust during shipping or installation, won’t scratch a panel finish or clog from airborne dust. Hip and RidgeVent also prevents insect and snow infiltration, meets building codes and has a Class A fire rating.
