Fairview’s Vitrabond G2 is a noncombustible metal composite material (MCM) with aluminum skins and a profiled aluminum core. It has the same machinability as other types of MCM. Vitrabond G2 can be machine cut, routed, roll-bended and folded without any loss of structural integrity. It comes in 62-inch-wide by 196-inch-long sheets and custom sizes.
PPG Industries Inc.
PPG’s Durastar Ultra-COOL silicone-modified polyester coatings for walls and roofs contain pigments that provide solar reflectiveness and reduce heat adsorption of metal substrates. The solar reflective pigments can reduce the surface temperature of a dark color as much as 40 F. They come in many colors including 500 custom colors.

Bay Insulation Systems Inc.
Bay Insulation’s faced metal building insulation has a resilient, light density, fiberglass blanket insulation, which is NAIMA 202-96-certified, laminated to a vapor retarder facing. Faced metal building insulation meets Class A for surface burning characteristics per ASTM E84/UL723. It has a UL mark and Home Innovations Lab mark with an R-value on the label.
Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.
Kingspan’s KarrierPanel insulated metal panels (IMPs) are a singlecomponent system that takes less time to install than multi-part façade systems. A KarrierRail transmits loads from a variety of façade materials including metal wall panels to structural supports behind the IMPs. Expansion fasteners secure the exposed rail edge so the system handles negative loads.
CertainTeed Corp.
CertainTeed’s High Profile Series Frameworks extruded aluminum beams for walls, screens and ceilings can be straight or curved. Standard profiles come in lengths to 20 feet. There are eight standard profiles including 1 1/2-inch by 4 3/8-inch, 1 1/2-inch by 10- inch and 2-inch by 8-inch. Beams can be powder-coated to look like wood, veneered with wood or wrapped with a film that looks like wood.
MFM Building Products Corp.
MFM’s Ultra HT Wind and Water Seal is a self-adhering underlayment that is suitable for sidewall applications under metal wall panels and parapet walls that are capped with metal. The 45-mil, high-temperature-rated underlayment is used as a waterproofing/air barrier behind vertical metal wall panels. Its membrane is rated to 250 F.
YKK AP America Inc.
Compared to curtainwalls, which sit in front of buildings and anchor to each floor line, YKK AP’s YWW 60 XT window walls rest inside buildings and span floor-to-floor, or less than one floor. Options include systems that are pre-glazed or field-glazed, inside or outside glazed, and a glazing pocket that fits 1-inch-thick insulating glass or 1 5/16-inchthick insulating, laminated glass.
APV Engineered Coatings
APV Engineered Coatings’ NeverFade restoration coatings for metal walls and other applications use Kynar Aquatec, a water-borne grade of Kynar that dries in ambient conditions. The field-applied coatings have primers and topcoats, and are custom colormatched. The coatings provide a 20-year life cycle on carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and anodized aluminum.

Exceptional Metals’ EM CF Architectural insulated metal panels (IMPs) have a flat, monolithic appearance. The exterior has a stucco-embossed finish and can be coated with Signature 200, Signature 300 or applied finishes. The interior has a Light Mesa profile and stucco-embossed finish. Interior coatings are standard Igloo White or non-standard colors. IMP thickness ranges from 2 inches to 4 inches.
Huntsman Building Solutions
Huntsman’s D-Max wall application method uses Heatlok Soya HFO closedcell spray foam insulation (ccSPF). Where the wall is composed of regular steel studs, Z-bar is installed horizontally on studs and sheathing is installed on top of it, making space between the studs and sheathing for ccSPF.
