Copper clads house

Photo: Anthony Sullivan - Fernando HuizarFernau and Hartman Architects Inc. specified copper wall panels for a private residence in Berkeley, Calif., to distinguish it among neighboring structures. The copper clads the entire exterior wrap of the building.

Rua and Son Mechanical Inc. installed 9,200 square feet of MetalTech-USA's 20-ounce Copper Double Lock Standing Seam Wall Panels. The panels are finished in two types of PrePatina: Light Patina and Dark Patina. Additionally, MetalTech-USA fabricated custom flashings and trim for inset windows and doorways along with awning attachments and small shed roof transitions. The $274,000 project was completed in February 2016.
