Last year, Detroit-based General Motors announced more than 3,400 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealerships across the U.S. would upgrade their facilities to meet brand standards. These upgrades included new exterior entrances with updated signage; a bright, modern showroom; and customer lounges with free Wi-Fi. The dealership enhancements are part of a larger GM initiative to reward dealers who voluntarily meet the parent company’s customer experience standards.
During the retrofit, each dealership is decoratively clad with Hatfield, Pa.-based Laminators Inc.’s Omega-Lite panels in Bright Silver and custom color ‘Chevy Blue’ to maintain a consistent corporate image. Laminators’ panels have already been installed on several dealerships across the U.S., including: Reedman Toll Chevrolet, Langhorne, Pa.; Bryner Chevrolet, Jenkintown, Pa.; Boulder Chevrolet, Boulder, Colo.; Deacon Jones Chevrolet, Smithfield, N.C.; La Junta Chevrolet, La Junta, Colo.; Paddock Chevrolet, Kenmore, N.Y.; Joe Basil Chevrolet, Depew, N.Y.; and Jay Chevrolet, Highland, Mich.
