MWC’s 400,000-square-foot dairy processing plant, is clad with insulated metal panels (IMPs). Eagle Enterprise of Michigan Inc. installed Kingspan Insulated Panels Inc.’s KS Shadowline IMPs and KS Shadowline interior IMPs in Imperial White with CLEANsafe siliconized modified polyester coating. Eagle Enterprise also installed 4.5 miles of utilities and 2.3 million feet of wiring.
The facility took two years to build. It houses a reverse osmosis plant and massive 500,000 gallon holding tank. The operation is capable of processing 8,000,000 gallons of milk per day.
George Chappell, vice president of dairy operations at Glanbia Nutritionals Inc., a member of the joint venture, says, “This is one of the best built, highest quality dairy facilities in the dairy industry.”
