Planet Hollywood Theatre of the Performing Arts, Las Vegas

Planet Hollywood Theatre of the Performing ArtsThe Planet Hollywood Theatre of the Performing Arts features 40 stainless-steel metal mesh screens from Cambridge Architectural that can be raised and lowered with the ease of a button. Using an attachment method designed by Cambridge’s engineers, the unique design allows for the theater to be changeable, creating a larger, 7,500-seat theater, or smaller, 2,800-seat area depending on the needs of the theater. The screens vary in size from 10 to 12 feet in width and 13 to 68 feet in length and hang from 30 to 56 feet above the finish floor. LED lights are used to light up the panels in various colors, while not affecting the acoustical properties of the theater.
