This 12,231-square-foot (1,136-m2) building for the all-terrain vehicle retailer was completed in June 2008. The project utilized a custom Star Building Systems’ metal building for the clear span requirements of the showroom, as well as cost considerations and construction speed. Conventional framing was used for the wall system, along with metal stud framing and stucco for the exterior. The roof consists of 13,175 square feet (1,224 m2) of StarShield Roof System in Polar White. Metal equipment screens on the roof were fabricated, along with the metal building components; the screens are supported by the Star structure. The building has R-19 insulation in the interior walls and 6-inch (152-mm) insulation in the roof to make the facility more energy efficient. Additionally, the project has a white painted metal StarShield cool roof and a Low-E energy-efficient storefront system installed.
