The Mangoes at Edison & Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Fla., is a 3,000-square-foot (279- m2) craftsman bungalow-style home that is now a Florida Historical Landmark offering visitors a variety of amenities, including a museum of exhibits on inventions and life experiences. Built in 1911, the bungalow was purchased by Henry Ford in 1916 asa winter retreat. To preserve the historic building style and comply with LEED 2.2 requirements, San Antonio-based Berridge Manufacturing Co. supplied 57 squares (529 m2) of Satin Finish Galvalume Victorian Shingles for the restoration.
