The Ridge Assisted Living, Salt Lake City

The Ridge Assisted Living in Salt Lake City is a four-level, 139,507-square-foot facility that features multi-unit housing with outdoor gathering spaces. AJC Architects PC specified metal roofing to withstand weather conditions including wind uplift.

The metal roof also met the project’s aesthetic goals. The panels were installed at the front entrance and backside canopy because those areas are visible from the second and third floors. The metal roofing responds well to the building’s tight site and irregular shape, and conceals the rooftop units.

The project utilized 18,100 square feet of MBCI’s 24-gauge, 16-inch-wide SuperLok standing seam roof system in Signature 300 Midnight Bronze on the brick and stucco building. The roof was completed for $350,000 in April 2017.
