Triangle Fastener Corp., Pittsburgh, has hired Dave Fulton as director of engineering services. In this newly created position he will be responsible for fastening system engineered services relating to: product testing and evaluation, building code issues and product submittals/certifications. Fulton will also actively participate with the Metal Building Manufacturers Association and the Metal Construction Association, and work directly with customers to solve and/or improve fastening related issues. Fulton has more than 40 years of experience in the metal building and metal component industries, including 30 years of research and testing of metal components. He holds several product patents which are still used today and has developed a myriad of metal panel products. He is a past member of the MCA board of directors and currently the technical director for the MCA and is chairman of the board for the Cool Metal Roofing Coalition. He is active on the American Iron and Steel Institute committee on specifications and is a Certified Welding Inspector through the American Welding Society. He is a member of the ASCE, ASTM, AWS, RICOWI, CRMC and CRRC technical committee. Fulton will be working out of the TFC Houston office.
