The 2008 Distinguished Service Award for the Architectural Products Group, which went to Steve Fronek, vice president of technical services for Wausau Window and Wall Systems, Wausau, Wis., was one of several honors presented at the American Architectural Manufacturers Association’s 72nd Annual Conference Awards Banquet held recently at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, Calif. Fronek has been very involved in the evolution of thermal performance standards. Other award winners included: Outstanding Member Award David Moyer, vice president, Architectural Testing Inc., York, Pa. Residential Products Group Distinguished Service Award Tracy Rogers, technical director, Edgetech IG, a division of Lauren International, Cambridge, Ohio. Marketing Distinguished Service Award Joe Hums, regional sales manager, Mikron, a division of Quanex Corp., Houston. Chairman’s Award Acralight International, Santa Ana, Calif.
