The Metal Roofing Alliance (MRA) announced the winner of its Best Residential Metal Roofing Project competition for the second quarter of 2024 is a project built by Mountaintop Metal Roofing, based in Vancouver, Wash.

The residential project located in Banks, Ore., has a combination of metal shingles and standing seam panels.

The Aluminum Shingle Co., based in Layton, Utah, supplied its PermaLock metal shingles, and Taylor Metal Inc., based in Salem, Ore., supplied its standing seam roofing system.

Renee Ramey, executive director at MRA, says, “This is a very impressive reroofing job, especially given the size, pitch and number of roof planes on the home. It also demonstrates that by using expert installation methods and top quality metal products, a home can achieve a customized look and outstanding curb appeal that is designed to look amazing for many decades to come.”
