Hoffmann Architects + Engineers has promoted Thomas James T. Wyatt, AIA, APX, to staff architect in its Washington, D.C., office. Wyatt joined the firm in 2025 and recently earned his architecture license in Washington, D.C.
His building envelope work includes a multiyear roof-replacement project at Union Station in Washington, D.C.; window replacement at the Herman T. Schneebeli Federal Building and Courthouse in Williamsport, Pa.; and roofing standards developed for the Architect of the Capitol. For the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum, he evaluated an existing roof assembly for solar-panel installation and fall protection.
Wyatt has also provided enclosure consulting for the University of Virginia’s School of Data Science Entrepreneurship Building, including hygrothermal analysis, basis-of-design review, and enclosure commissioning.
