The Weber State University’s Sports Complex in Ogden, Utah, was originally built for the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. It was expanded in 2013 and features more than 22,000 square feet of Houston-based MBCI’s 7.2 Panel and 3,000 square feet of flat sheet panels. The combination of these panels create a sleek, industrial-looking design. The Silver Metallic color selected for the 7.2 Panels and the flat sheets added to the building’s streamlined appearance.
The athletic facility, designed by FFKR Architects, Salt Lake City, serves Weber State University and Weber County. The general contractor was Jacobsen Construction Co. Inc., Salt Lake City, and the roofing contractor was All Metals Fabrication, Ogden.
