Blending the design with existing buildings was a challenge for Spanda Industrial Development, the design-builder and installer for Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District’s Support Services Facility in Roseville, Calif.
The existing architecture was wood-framed buildings with vertical, corrugated wall and roof panels. To match the new with the old, Spanda Industrial Development specified and installed corrugated wall panels in Galvalume from AEP Span, a division of ASC Profiles LLC.
Spanda Industrial Development built the Support Services Facility with a metal building system, metal roof and skylights. The building houses office space and a bus maintenance area. The maintenance area is illuminated with 10, 2-foot by 20-foot PrisMax SL Skylights supplied by Varco Pruden Buildings. It also supplied its Rigid Frame metal building system and Galvalume SSR standing seam roof system. The project was completed in March 2016.
