Metal roof highlights community center

The dominant feature of the El Franco Community Center in Houston is the mechanically seamed Curved Zee-Lock Roof System from Berridge Manufacturing Co., San Antonio. The project features 20,000 square feet (1,858 m2) of the Kynar 500 metallic-coated panels in Champagne that were site-formed and installed over solid decking.

Berridge also supplied a range of metal panels for the project, including 2,290 square feet (213 m2) of Deep Deck; 4,900 square feet (455 m2) of FW-12 as wall panels; and 3,850 square feet (358 m2) of L-Panel as soffit. The curved entry canopy also features 1,000 square feet (93 m2) of High Seam Tee-Panel.

Autoarch Architects, Houston, was the architect; Frost Construction, Houston, was the general contractor; and R.W. Honea Sheet Metal, Houston, was the installer.
